KitznKatz takes pride in the ongoing relationships we have with purchasers of our retirees. We love to hear how our cats are doing and make a diligent effort to keep in contact with our "extended families". We believe that our responsibility does not end with the placement of a retiree into your home, rather, that is when our responsibility to you begins.

      Lacy & KiloHello Bridgette,

I wanted to thank-you for our wonderful addition to our family. The photos show that our babies have bonded. We love them dearly, we are so lucky to have them from you.

After making arrangements for Lacy, I really felt you were quite reluctant to send her. Having second thoughts so to speak. At the time, I believed, it was very difficult for you to part with her. Today, I visited your site ( I love looking at your new babies) and I came across "The Retiree" reading this and having Lacy in our home for 6 months, I really understand how very hard this was for you.

If it is any relief at all, I want you to know that both Kilo and Lacy are members of our family. They are wonderful cats who have different personalities (not unlike children). I thank you for our babies and I promise you they have the best of care and above all, they are loved. I thank you for parting with our Miss Lacy, I know it was difficult, we love her as much as you do.

      With Fond Regards,

      The Goodson Family

      Dear Brigitte,

GCH Jessica I am emailing you to let you know that Jessica is adjusting fantastically to our home. I knew we'd be okay on the very first day we came home... I was very tired after the trip and I lied down to take a nap. Jessica was involved in deep exploration of her new room when I fell asleep. When I woke up, the first thing that I saw was Jessie's little face sound asleep with her head propped up on my chest, curled up inside my arm like a baby. It was so beautiful. I wish you could have seen us. It might have been the song I sang to her when we arrived home that very first day "You are so beautiful to Me", and it might not have been the song... but she has slept curled up next to me everynight since the day I brought her home.

We are thrilled with our new baby. Jessie loves my husband and seems to get along very well with him. She will even lie down next to him and sleep for awhile but she definitely prefers my company. You were right! She's a great cat and very well behaved. She doesn't ever seem to get tired of my constant attention.. petting, brushing, and loving. She actually had the nerve to get mad at me when I went back to work this week. I took vacation last week and was she pissed off the first day I left her home alone!! :-) It's okay we made up and she understands I can't buy cat food if I don't go to work. (ha! ha!)

It couldn't have worked out better for us. Thank you very much for everything!!! I wish you continued success with your Leo Cats (that's what I call them). I will stay in touch with you so you can keep track of us!

      Joyce

      **UPDATE

      Dear Brigitte:

It has been a little over one year since Jessica has come to live with my husband Ken, and myself. We have recently gotten married and I just submitted the paperwork to change Jessica into my ownership with TICA so it would show our married names together. I hope this isn't a problem for us.

Jessica is the most wonderful cat that I've ever owned. She has transitioned completely into our home and has blessed our lives tremendously. She has such a funny personality and enjoys playing with feather toys with my husband. It was difficult for me, the first night she chose to sleep with him instead of myself but I'm over it now. Ken and Jessica have become very close and she considers him her "man" and I allow her to think it is true! She is spoiled, loved and adored living here with the Hadden family and we thank you very much for helping us find a wonderful pet in an older retired female. She was the perfect cat for us!!

I am sending you a poem that I recently wrote which you have permission to put up on your website if you would like. Please take care and I will be sending you a picture of Ken, Joyce and Jessica Hadden soon!!

      Best Regards,
      Joyce Lynn Hadden

      By Joyce Lynn Hadden

Dark exotic eyes piercing into my soul
Whispering secrets about the mysteries of life
Quietly she crept into my heart
      Hypnotic creature of the night
Persistently begging to become my friend
      Demanding attention constantly

      KitznKatz Freedom DancerHi Brigitte

Just wanted to let you know that Asia and Freedom are playing and sleeping together. She's no longer shy at all. She follows him as if she has a crush on him. I see no evidence of dominance, but he is acting very mature and regal, and she is just like a kitten with him. I've never seen 2 cats take to each other that fast.

She's also all over me too. Just like Asia is sometimes, she can't sit still being petted. She'll come up on my bed and settle down, then the second I start pettinng her, she's up and moving.

I'll probably have some pictures developed by this weekend to send you.

      Lesley
