Asta also knows many words
which he can pick out of a sentence, any sentence! And he loves to talk.
He has quite an extensive vocabulary--lots and lots of different sounds and
words, each with a very precise meaning. There's nothing more soothing
than to curl up with Asta in our warm sleigh bed and just enjoy being
together.
Today was his first day to be by himself while we
were at work. When I came home, he came running when I called him.
Zookie is so loving and he is beautiful too. We are so pleased with him.
He is such a wonderful addition to our family.
Our little girl is doing great.
We have given her a new nick-name, "Trash Cat". It doesn't sound very
flattering, but she loves to play with crumpled pieces of paper and now
"hunts" them out of the trash can. We have to place every trash can in the
house out of her reach, just like a baby. She is a constant source of
amusement and we love her dearly. Tumbleweed is the mistress of the downstairs--Louie has decided that he
will just stay upstairs, away from the little nuisance! In the evening,
when we're watching TV, he comes out of the bedroom and lays at the top
of the stairs and watches Tumbleweed chase her toys all over the place.
Then he comes down to the first landing, but if she shows any interest
at all in him, he heads for higher ground.
You were right on about how long it would take the two cats to become
friends, within the first week they are playing together and they have
started grooming each other too.
We'll stay in touch,
We arrived home last night safe and sound, Xena
slept most of the way.
We settled her in Allie's (11 yr. old) bedroom
so that she could get
used to her room first and not be overwhelmed
with the whole house. So,
we fed her and played with her and then played
with her some more. She
used her new litter box and then we all went to
bed. Jessica (14 yr.
old) felt it was necessary for her to sleep in
Allie's room JUST in case
Xena needed her during the night. The report
this morning is that she
snuggled with the girls most of the night got up
a few times to eat,
drink and use the litter box. Right now she is
watching the birds from
Allie's window. We couldn't be happier! I can't express how much we adore her, she's such a little clown!
We feel
fortunate to have purchased
a kitten from a person like you who not only is
a ethical breeder but
who also loves her cats.
We'll keep in touch and give you updates on Xena
aka Xena Warrior
Kitten!

Brigitte,
Asta, is a dear love. He is his own person, quite precise and serious about
everything he does.
His life's work, at the moment, is to play. He has a
basket of toys and enjoys selecting a toy and bringing it to me, Han or
H.A.--. Asta will play only with the toy HE chooses. His two all-time
favorite toys are Mr. Purple and Chicky-Pie!
Thanks, Brigitte, for bringing him to our family.
Mary

Hi Brigitte,
Well we are definately in love! Bazooka is some cat! He has just moved
right in and made himself at home. He is the sweetest thing and shares his
laptime with us both equally. He has never run and hid like other cats do
in a strange place and wants to be where the action is. After some initial
hesitation on both parts, my five year old grandaughter and he have
become great pals.

Hi Brigitte,

She is so funny, we bought her new toys the first day, but her favorite
play thing is still a piece of crumpled paper--(buy a kid a toy and they play
with the box!). She bats the paper, chases it and tosses it in the air.
I think she likes the noise it makes, and it goes further than the other
toys do when she hits it. She also likes to carry it around in her
mouth.
Kim

Brigitte,
It was such a pleasure to meet you and your
family! You and your
cattery certainly met and exceeded our
expectations!
