Ain't She Amazin' better known around the KitznKatz home as "Mazey" is a marbled Bengal. Her pattern is very striking and as the standard requires, with extremely little influence from the "classic tabby" pattern. When Maze was born, we really had to look her over, and over, and over to decide if she was a marble or spotted.
As Mazey grew up, her pattern became more and more open, other breeders were also looking at her twice and judges too.... she was dubbed a "spotted marble". At her first show she received a best kitten from judge Bobbie Tullo and a second best from judge Martine Calliard.
As we continue to strive for marbled patterns that boast a horizontal flow to them, Mazey is a great asset to our Bengal Breeding program.
Mazey's pattern shows almost no influence from the classic tabby pattern. As you can see there is a beautiful horizontal alignment. Notice the rosetting in her pattern. Her profile is striking and very roman. Her head type is good and strong.
Perhaps you can see where the confusion comes in regarding Mazey's pattern. She has a very desirable broken pattern. There is no bullseye and it all flows horizontally.
As Judge Peter Markstien stretches Mazey upright, we get a good look at her strong head type and wonderful coat pattern. Mazey is very golden in color, a color we call "14kt", a soft gold tone and she is also highly glittered.
Mazey PURRsonality is as outstanding as she is in looks. We at KitznKatz are proud to produce cats, like KitznKatz Ain't She Amazin that excell in color, conformation, eye appeal and temperament.
