KitznKatz ArebaAreba is owned by my mother, Johanna Schiedeck of JJ's Purrecious Ragdolls When my father passed away in 1999, we all felt a great loss but, especially my mother who had been married to him for almost 50 years. Rick and I would try to make sure that she wasn't alone too much and we would have her over every night to join us for dinner.

She loved the Bengals and always was right in there playing with the kittens, etc.. well, this one little kitten bonded to my mother, she would climb up and sit on my mothers lap and pretty much stay there until my mother left for the evening.

This went on for weeks - just this one little girl who it appeared had claimed my mother - so, I told Rick, I think I am going to give this kitten to my mother.

The next evening my mother came over and once again, the kitten claimed her for the evening - as my mother got ready to leave, I said, "Mom, why don't you take her with you." The look of surprise on her face, she of course said no, I couldn't and I said, she is yours if you want her... she thought for a moment and said, "but, what about my Ragdolls? Do you think they will be OK?" I looked at my mom in disbelief and said, "MOM!, of course they will be OK!" I said, "You think on it and if it doesn't work out, she can come back home" She took her the next visit. The kitten was Registered Areba 'Ole. My mother was completely surprised to find that Areba was the sweetest one in the bunch . She was so pleased that Areba had gotten all the Ragdolls to play again and she could see that they indeed liked her!

My mother would call me DAILY (even though she also was coming over, and she still fills me in on "Areba stories") to tell me all about AREBA! Now, she has had Areba for over almost 3 years and I honestly believe that she couldn't live without Areba! It's Areba this and Areba that all the time! I have to laugh. She even wants me to add a photo of Areba to her RAGDOLL website! She dearly loves Areba and it is VERY obvious - Whenever anyone comes over, she is bragging on her "little burrito" as she affectionately calls her (Areba is overweight).

I have even had several people that have gone to my mother's home to pick up their little Ragdoll kitten decide to get a Bengal as well because of what they have seen at my mothers!

      Oh Brigitte,
I just don't know how I can possibly thank you enough. Peter is, in a word, perfect (I am not exaggerating, either). It wasn't 10 minutes after we left that he was asleep on my lap and only woke up to knead my hand or leg and purr. I held him and pet him the entire way and he looked *so* very happy. He literally never made a sound except for his very loud purring.

KitznKatz PeterWhen we got home he spent an hour or so looking around and then decided he was hungry so he ate and ate and ate and ate. He wouldn't eat the Science Diet so we put some Iams kitten food down for him as well. Before too long he couldn't decide which to eat so he would take a bit of one then the other, all the while he stood with his front paws in the food bowls and kneaded the food as he was eating! It was the cutest thing.

He doesn't look stressed or upset at all, which truly surprised me. He just keeps rubbing against me and I just keep rubbing his head. He has really made me happy :)

Anyway, last night he and I fell asleep watching TV on the couch. After a while I woke up and went to bed. He slept all tucked in around my neck (just like Simon used to) all night. It was so comforting I slept better than I have in months. This morning he is just running around playing with his toys and eating. I just love him so much already.

The little sweetheart has become very attached to me. He always wants to be near me, which I just love. He seems to sense what I want/need and is right there for me.

Again, thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you and thank you.

      Talk to you soon,
      Chad

Sara with KitznKatz Jessie & KitznKatz LiaBrigitte,

Just wanted to let you know how our two babies are doing. I can't thank you enough for our two perfect, healthy kittens -- Jesse and Lia (yes, I think we finally gave her a name)! They passed their first veterinary visit with flying colors and are growing like weeds. They are both sweet and loving, yet wild and crazy! They're very inquisitive and need to investigate everything we do. They love to be around people and follow us around the house like little puppy dogs. They also like to help us do our household chores -- like washing the dishes, sweeping the kitchen floor or taking a bath. Whatever we do, they're there to help! We're enjoying them so much -- never a dull moment!

Both Jesse and Lia love to pick up a little toy mouse and run through the house with it in their mouth! It's so adorable. We've also found that the best toys are the free ones -- for instance, there's nothing more fun than sticking your head in an empty Kleenex box and getting it stuck in there. They do that over and over again. A water bottle cap or empty paper bag is another big hit -- that keeps them occupied for hours!

When we first brought them home, it was easy to tell them apart -- now it's really hard. Lia's spots have really darkened and Jesse has caught up in size. They're both absolutely gorgeous! In addition to the kitties, I've got a new friend -- I feel comfortable calling you with any silly question that I might have! You're never too busy to talk to me -- thanks!

Sara says she can't imagine life without the kitties -- she loves them so much! You've made one little girl very happy!!! I still can't believe we were lucky enough to get these two incredibly beautiful, healthy kittens -- they're more than we could have ever hoped for!

      Thanks again,
      Steve, Yvonne and Sara

**Update - A new family Member! KitznKatz Mojo, seal lynx spotted male

      Brigitte,

KitznKatz Mojo Seal Lynx Spotted Snow Just wanted to let you know that everyone's doing just fine. Mojo's likes to sit on my knee. I squat down, pick him up and put him on one leg -- he loves it and just lays there and lets me pet him, he's a total lover boy -- loves to rub your leg and be petted -- and he's very vocal! He's just so irresistible and so cute!

I've been trying to get a picture of Mojo with something in his mouth, but he's usually running down the hall with it and he's too fast for me. He loves to prance around with little mice in his mouth -- he looks so proud. Last night, I was just about to fall asleep when this mouse comes flying over me and lands next to me in the bed. I just about died -- then here comes three cats pouncing on the mouse. They seem to get the wildest right when we want to go to bed -- they'll play hard for 10 or 15 minutes and then all cuddle up together and go to sleep. I woke up this morning with Mojo cuddled up right next to me!

      KitznKatz WillowDear Brigitte,

Willow is absolutely stunning. My in laws think she is soo gorgeous and they were surprised cause they had never seen a Bengal.

Thank you soooo very MUCH for rasing such as sweet affectionate kitten!! We are so happy that we purchased our little Bengal from you and I really appreciate the hard work that you do breeding Bengals. Willow is the sweetest kitten and she is more than we could have ever hoped for. She is so kind and yet has her hyper moments where she runs throughout the house with her little toy in her mouth, and makes cute grunting noises which draw immediate attention to her. She is so CUTE!!!!!!!! Willow loves to cuddle and she has a very loud purr, she is not afraid of anything including water. She is very intrigued with water which is a behavior that I have never seen in cats.

KitznKatz Willow Willow also seems to get more beautiful as each day passes and I notice the subtle changes in her coat. She is getting more and more golden in color and her coat is more vivid. Her spots seem to be getting wider apart as she grows which is really neat to see. Everyone who has seen Willow so far is very quick to comment on how pretty and sweet she is.

My in laws stayed with us for a few days and they along with their dogs just fell in love with her. Willow and the younger dog just had so much fun together and they really bonded within a short time. After they left it was obvious that Willow really missed Riley because she was looking all over for him and she layed where he liked to take naps for a couple days. Now that Riley is gone Willow has been bonding more with Jason and I and attempting to establish a relationship with our 4 year old Ragdoll kitty Calie. Calie likes to watch her play from a distance, but she is still not used to having Willow around although I really think that in time she will bond with Willow, and I will be sure to keep you posted on how that goes.

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!
      Take care
      Love Sarah and Jason :)
